What is the working principle of a water quality sampler

  • Hits: 17

The water quality sampler is a specially designed and produced device for the online monitoring system of water pollution sources to provide mixed samples and retain samples that exceed standards. This sampler is widely used at the inlet and outlet of pollution sources and sewage treatment plants, and is used in conjunction with online monitoring instruments for COD, total phosphorus, total nitrogen, heavy metals, etc. The unique flow tracking sampling mode can provide continuous mixed water samples to the online monitor.

The automatic water quality sampler realizes functions such as collecting mixed water samples, temporarily storing mixed water samples after thorough mixing, retaining samples that exceed standards and triggering alarms, refrigerating samples, automatically cleaning and emptying the mixed water bucket, and protecting samples. It is an ideal supporting device for the overall solution of the online monitoring system for water pollution sources.

Application fields: The automatic water quality sampler is widely used at the inlet and outlet of pollution sources and sewage treatment plants, and is used in conjunction with online monitoring instruments for COD, ammonia nitrogen, heavy metals, etc.

Under the control of the instrument, water samples are quantitatively collected into the designated sampling bottles by peristaltic pumps according to the set program and then refrigerated at low temperatures for laboratory analysis. According to the sampling function, it can be divided into flow proportional sampling, timed sampling and remote control sampling, etc. According to whether the samples are stored in separate bottles, it can be divided into bottle separation samplers and mixed samplers.

Under the control of the controller, a peristaltic pump is used to collect water samples into the instrument. Through the instrument's distribution system, the water samples are sent into the designated sampling bottles. The temperature of the water samples is kept constant at 4±2℃ by the constant temperature system, thus completing the automatic collection, automatic distribution and constant temperature preservation process of the water samples.
