Grasp Water Sampler Mother's Day Special Event: See the Power of Women in Role Transitions

  • Hits: 15

On this warm Mother's Day, Grasp Water Sampler Company has carefully planned a special event for mothers. This event, which lasted for over an hour, was like an emotional roller coaster. Sometimes it was so hilarious that it made people laugh their heads off, and at other times it triggered deep thoughts among everyone.

At the beginning of the event, Miss Wang extended the company's heartfelt blessings to the working mothers who were able to participate, and also expressed his concern for colleagues who were unable to attend due to business trips. The host invited Ms. Wang to share her insights on balancing her career and family life and asked her if she had ever been labeled. Miss Wang said: "Regarding career and family, I haven't thought too much. I just devote myself wholeheartedly to every role." All of this would not have been possible without Mr Zhao's understanding, support, tolerance and moving forward together. In the company, she is a striver, always thinking about how to do her job well and make the company and everyone better and better. Back home, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to thinking about how to cultivate the next generation well. If there is any label to be given, it might be the one the children put on her: "My loud-voiced mom."

Subsequently, everyone engaged in a discussion around the stories of "being labeled" in daily life. The original intention of the administrative department in preparing this part was to hope that everyone could see and let go of these labels and be themselves again. Originally, it was thought that the different labels in the workplace and at home would be a pain point that mothers find hard to accept. However, when everyone shared their experiences, they found that although taking care of children is very hard and tiring, they didn't feel there were any labels they couldn't accept. Eventually, all the labels turned into blessings. Every mother's situation is different. Some children are only two or three years old, some are eight or nine years old, and some are already in their twenties. All kinds of different things happen at different stages of children's growth. A colleague from the administrative department shared the amusing story of a two or three-year-old child sticking behind his mother and calling her non-stop every day. However, a colleague from the production department smiled and said, "Just enjoy it. My child is already seventeen or eighteen, in his early twenties. It's hard for him to call her 'Mom'." Either Mom sends me some money. Some colleagues also talked about the stories of their interactions with their parents when they were children.

Miss Wang, drawing on recent work experiences, shared with everyone how crucial it is for a child to have a mother's emotional stability. She made an analogy, saying that a mother is like a "mirror" of a child's emotions, and the child will handle problems by imitating the mother. If a child makes a mistake and the mother is so angry that she wants to lose her temper, don't be in a hurry. Take a deep breath and remind yourself to stay calm. Because the children are watching, mom is steady and composed. When the children encounter problems in the future, they will also learn to stay calm.

Then, everyone wrote down their expectations for the future and participated in interactive games. In the game, blindfolded used a randomly selected item to tear off the sticky note. The colleague from the finance department performed particularly well. She became the first place in this activity with the ruler she drew, and she had to be described as the "Tiger Mom". This not only echoes her performance in the workplace: although she has a tender and emotional side, whenever there is something going on in the company, she always takes the lead and never sees herself as a weakling, truly a "tough girl".

This event vividly demonstrated Grisp's concept of "people-oriented and caring for employees". Mr Zhao, the founder of Grasp Water sampler, often says: "The company should not only produce qualified products but also cultivate qualified people." Because if people are not qualified, how can the things they do be qualified? Therefore, the company has always been committed to fostering a culture of strivers for its employees, building a learning organization, and creating a warm, inclusive and understanding working environment to help every employee balance work and life. In the future, Grisp will continue to practice this concept, enabling every employee to shine their own light here.
